K.B. Spangler lives in North Carolina with her husband and two completely awful dogs. They live in the decaying house of a dead poet. She is the author of numerous comics, novels, and short stories. All projects include themes of privacy, politics, technology and infrastructure, civil liberties, the human experience, and how the lines between these blur like the absolute dickens.

Artist and author Ale Presser is a very tired Brazilian mom who lives in Portugal with her husband and son. She has been working in print and online comics since the 1990s. In 2020, she earned her Doctorate in Design, and has since turned her thesis into a resources guide for how to develop and publish webtoons, which won Brazil’s Troféu HQ Mix for Best Doctoral Thesis in 2020. She started working with K.B. in 2019 as the artist for the webcomic « A Girl and Her Fed », and since then, their working arrangement evolved into a full partnership. They have been working on many projects, « Side Quested » being the most ambitious. According to K.B., Ale is a Border Collie that has to be working all the time or she will start chewing the couch.
