Dr. Fauci’s research is heavily cited, and he is one of the principal architects of the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), a program that has saved millions of lives throughout the developing world. At the 2020 outbreak of COVID-19, Dr. Fauci became the face of the White House’s Coronavirus Task Force.
